Lisa’s website confirms 20 October and presents it as historical fiction with a romance storyline.
Lisa Kleypas fans, the wait is almost over!
Queen of Lombard Street is scheduled for release on 20 October, and this premise has my attention.
London, 1880. Reina Martin has an ambitious plan: open Britain’s first all-women’s bank. Her household staff? Recently paroled prisoners looking for a second chance. Her new butler? An undercover detective investigating her business partner.
Honestly, hiring a butler and accidentally getting a financial fraud investigation feels like quite the plot twist.
Blending historical fiction with romance, this story promises secrets, found family and a woman determined to build a different future for herself and other women.
Will you be adding this one to your TBR? And which Lisa Kleypas book is your favourite?
